Colorado Flag
Colorado became a US State: 1876. The flag design was adopted 1911. The C stands for Colorado (Spanish for “Colored red”). The gold ball in the center is for the mineral riches of the area (gold). The white and blue are for the blue sky and the snowy mountains.
